Muse

Thanks to our trusted partnership with the team over at Warner Music we got the chance to work with none other than Muse! As a means to promote their brand new album ’Will Of The People, we assisted this prog-rock to beef up their communication game. They had a vivid concept in place for their new body of work and it was an absolute honor to contribute to it.

From scratch made unique animations

We used the power of the internet to promote the project, drawing inspiration from the infamous hacker group Anonymous for WILL's character. The idea was a hit, leading Muse's management to apply it to all promotional assets. We incorporated glitching sequences and error pop-ups, along with our in-house sound design, gradually overtaking the band's audio and visuals. The video ends with WILL's mask and the text "YOU ARE BEING WATCHED," cycling back to the album's title track, and flashing images of the monogram for visual cohesion.

We were thrilled to be part of Muse's big release, and our work impressed the band. They loved it so much that they entrusted us with another project for the album – a video countdown for their YouTube premiere. We used our previous tricks, incorporating handmade cyber-attacks into the beautiful footage they provided. The countdown highlighted the album's title, featured singles, and included ominous footage of WILL. As a final surprise cyber-attack, we increased the count at the last second, adding an extra twist before the countdown ended.

Our designs

Muse asked us to design print works promoting "Will Of The People." Originally meant for a few cities, our designs ended up worldwide. We portrayed "WILL" as a rebellious figure, rushing through rooftops at night, conveying a clear message through a botched, grungy look. We added paper rips, folds, tears, and Muse's monogram spray-painted on top for an anarchistic vibe.
